Bill is married to Kathy, and they have two children. Bill grew up in country NSW, and after graduating from the University of Queensland in 2000 with a BA (History), he worked in university mission with Student Life at UQ for 8 years. Bill came to Lakeshore as the first Ministry Training Apprentice in 2008, where he’s seeking to bring glory to God by enjoying and displaying God’s greatness in every part of life. The most important people in Bill’s life are his wife and children, and his interests include music (especially guitar), sport (especially basketball), games, reading and history.

I have been married to Christine for over 35 years and we have 5 children, all of which are married and involved in Christian service. We are also very proud of our growing number of grandchildren. I came to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus on 14th Sept. 1968, and have served Him all those years in the area of Primary school aged youth group ministry, and in other Leadership areas. I have always enjoyed my work as a self employed builder, getting tremendous job satisfaction, but the love of my life is my family, and the desire to serve Jesus. I enjoy watching all sport, particularly Rugby League and Cricket, having played both in NSW. juniors  and A grade in Qld.

I became a Christian at 17 years of age. From then on for the next fifteen years was involved in Youth Outreaches with my local Church of Christ. I have been married to Lyn for over 28 years and have three sons, Timothy, Andrew and Simon. In 1993 our family served overseas for 4 months in Vanuatu. This awakened a lasting compassion for Vanuatu. Over the years I have led many Work Teams to Vanuatu and recently Lyn and I have taken on the responsibility of elevating the accountability, educational and spiritual level of a Technical College in Vanuatu.  We have had our own business for 21 years and God has blessed us and we believe that we are to do all things as unto him.

Our family moved to the Sunshine Coast in Late 2000. After doing our mandatary church shopping we arrived at Lakeshore and have been on that journey for the last 8 years. My wife Bernice and I have been actively involved within the life of Lakshore in different capacities. The most formal position has been my role as church administrator. When not at Lakeshore, Bernice is a full-time Mum and I work for a Stock broking company in Buderim. I’ve been involved in the finance industry since my first job with AMP since completing a business degree in 1989.
